According to the latest statistics released by the General Administration of Customs, the total value of China imports and exports of printing products, printing equipment and printing materials from January to December 2022 was US$25.08 billion, an increase of 4% compared with the same period last year. Of which, imports were $4.878 billion (down 15% year-on-year) and exports were $20.201 billion (up 10% year-on-year). During the same period, the domestic printing, printing equipment and printing materials import and export trade surplus totaled $ 15.323 billion (up 21% year-on-year).

The total value of domestic imports and exports of printing products, printing equipment and printing materials in December 2022 was $2.104 billion, with no growth from the previous year and down 6% year-on-year. Of which, imports were $ 400 million (down 2% YoY, down 22% YoY), exports were $ 1.704 billion (up 1% YoY, down 1% YoY). The above three categories of goods monthly import and export trade surplus totaled $1.304 billion (down 2% YoY, up 8% YoY).
